Perhaps our new signing(s) depend on us qualifying on tier one European rugby. Wouldn't surprise me.
Other team are not waiting their qualification in Champions cup for announce big name, impressive Sale Sharks in these days..

I didn't mean it from our perspective just maybe players agreed to join on the basis that they would be playing Champions Cup Rugby next season. Happens a lot in soccer. Players agree to join providing a club, gets promoted, qualifies for Europe etc etc

I doubt there's a champions cup clause in any contract, the way budgets are no player would wait and see and then find all the clubs have spent their budgets and don't have room for them.

We signed Prydie and Asquith months ago and now it's announced so it's probably the same for the other signings.

Maybe we've signed an osprey player and are waiting until after the game to announce?

I hope that the players are still attracted by the projects and programs, rather than the type of competition in which they play. His task will be to always, or often, the best.
This aspect I hope is still one of those things that differentiates us from football.
Watching the other club s announcement, I did a my personal idea about our transferts campaign. Will arrive one or max two new players, maybe from Canterbury area. Players who Mooar knows well and they know his philosophy, like Pivac did with Parkes.
This time we need some forwards. The only thing I hope is they don't play ITM this summer

I think we'll have a few more players to announce.

To be honest before another player is announced I'd like us to announce our new coaching set up.

It may depend on whether we can free up some money by offloading Hidalgo-Cline. I’ve heard and read some positive reviews on his performances at Harlequins, so I reckon there’s a decent chance he’ll be off the wage bill next season.

will we get  clayton and sam back?

It's all a bit up in the air at the moment
