Josh Adams has been outstanding for Worcester , should never have let such a young player go , scoring tries for fun , has a massive future .

No guarantees josh would have been successful with us though. He has had a season at worc A level which is much higher than prem level in wales

We don't have the resources to retain all our youngsters, more's the pity.

Josh Lewis has just signed for Bath apparently.
New KALAMAFONI - BEAST MODE t-shirt now available online.

Plus a new 'Sosban Fach Scoundrels' range.

I thought it was a mistake to leave Josh Adams go. I'm glad he's doing well. Some of the wingers we've had in recent seasons haven't been as good in my opinion. However I appreciate it's not always easy juggling a squad around on a limited budget.

If we kept every promising youngster they just wouldn't get any game-time and wouldn't develop at all.

He chose to leave, he didn't want to carry on playing for Llanelli and work on things the management told him he needed to improve on to make it into senior squad. He expected it on a plate and wasn't willing to do the hard graft to earn a contract.
He thought he was better than he was at that point, if he'd stayed and played for RFC team he'd have had his opportunity sooner with us than with Worcester as the following season we didn't have any wingers at one point in the season so he would have been used and could have played his way into senior squad like a lot of youngsters do.
He didn't play again for RFC that seasons after the U20's six nations that he played for with Wales, he knew he wasn't having a contract with Scarlets for the next season so he finished off that season playing for Hendy.
Totally wrong attitude if you want to make it as a professional.

How true! The wealth of resources at hooker (for example) in recent seasons has been absurd... some of these guys have to move on to get game time. On the other hand... which club or region has an excess of second rows and bulky 8s? Someone should tell us!

Tom has scored a try each of the last 3 weeks and long may his run continue, or were you discounting the AW match?
