Smashed a streaker who came on the pitch on the weekend, what an idiot. I know the streaker maybe got his commupance, but is it really the responsibility of a player to sort it out, and does an 18 stone monster smashing some wimpy streaker really the fit the definition is 'reasonable force'?? Questionable to say the least.

Bit bonkers really, if a streaker wants to express his/her freedom have a laugh,,,,,,daft.

In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

As much as we'd like to say bad about him for what happened when he came to us, if you're going to run onto a rugby pitch during a game you do deserve this

I feel more of an example needs to be made of him here. If that was on the street then far more action could be taken.

Agree that the streaker was an idiot, but was it Haha what's his faces place to take such drastic action. Could have seriously injured the guy.

The player would have had a huge round of applause years back for taking proper decisive action with these self centred little pratts thinking they can just run on and  bore us with their pathetic self indulgent antics-if you want to strip do it at home!
Having said that he shouldnt have tackled him as he did.

I quite enjoyed it, anyone who streaks on a rugby pitch deserves what he gets frankly.
