Looking a bit better now than it did a few months ago. Still work to do though and a few contracts to sign with existing players:

15: Liam Williams, Steff Evans, [Collins?]
Wing: DTH, [Harry Robinson], [Mcnicholl]
Centre: Jon Davies, Scott Williams, Hadleigh Parkes, Steff Hughes, Gareth Owen
Outside Half: Patchell, Aled Thomas, Dan Jones, Josh Lewis
Scrum half: Aled Davies, Gareth Davies, Conor Lloyd, Kieran Hardy, Jon Evans

Tight Head: Kruger, Samson, Jarvis, [Pete Edwards?]
Hooker: Ken Owens, Emyr Phillips, Ryan Elias, Torin Myhill
Loose Head: Rob Evans, Wyn Jones, Dylan Evans, [Phil John?]
Lock: Jake Ball, Tom Price, David Bulbring, [AN OTHER]
6: Shingler, Tom Phillips, Rawlins
7: Barclay, James Davies, Boyde
8: Condy, Allen

We look very short of specialist wings and I think need another lock and backrower, possibly a loose head too depending on what Phil John does and maybe an experienced back-up scrum half.

We are allowed 6 NWQ and 2 time servers. We currently stand at:
NWQ x4: Kruger, Parkes, DTH and Barclay
Timeserver x1: Bulbring.

I'd use the remaining NWQ/timeserver on a lock, wing and backrow.

Dan, can we have 6 NWQ + 2 Time Servers, so 8 in all?
Any offence taken on board is only a literate/cy consequence. Every attempt at humour is just that. No personal insult intended. Standards lowered for trolls.

Yes think that is correct.

The time servers have to be under 25 for a back and 28 for a forward. So Bulbring qualifies but Parkes doesn't as he was over 25 when he joined.

Dantheman / Haydn.
Just a few points. Is Pitman definitely leaving then? Jack Payne not down at 6 or 3 -is he another that has lost out in the attempt to convert into a tight -head?
George North back playing with some confidence as he did on Saturday and saying that he's not happy with Northampton's style of play- is he a possibility for a return on the right wing and under a dual contract? If not  Dragons Ashton Hewitt looks very promising -when his contract is up, but when is that?.

Hopefully the New-Zealander that Pivac brings back will be another time-serving second row

There's a few young lads on Dev deals like Macloed, Leung, Taylor Davies, Helps, Owen, plus I think we still have Wil Taylor for another year..

Yes, we're very thin in those areas. I'm confident that the club want to address them. I hope we as fans keep our expectations reasonable and remember the huge income gap between us and the English and French clubs looking for players.

North just renewed with Saints, he's never coming back. Amos would fit in well with us, but I believe rumours about him leaving Dragons were quashed. I can't believe that we can't unearth a Welsh winger. A bit young yet but 2 excellent Pembs lads in our under 18s, Gethin Gibby (FB) and Ryan Conbeer (wing). I'm hoping one of them will get a development contract

We have a 9 signed too. Similar pedigree to Aled and Rhodri.

Ross Moriarty would be an excellent signing for us to cover the 6/8 berth, whether he'd be interested and whether we could match Gloucester's wages would be the question.
