In a nutshell, the group that owns the Western Fail and the Daily Mirror (that's where the fail get's it's inspiration then!) have bought the group that owns the Evening Post and the Llanelli Star.

Not that the Post or the Star are shining examples of investigative journalism or the greatest champions of democracy, but it strikes me that having so many newspapers under one group is "unhealthy" shall we say.

On a lighter note, does anyone remember the old woman who used to sell the evening post in Swansea city centre? She used to bellow out "heeeehing ho!" It took me a few years to work out what she was selling
