I’d go
Rob Evans KenOwens John Davies Vernon Cooper - never seemed to be injured and the number of appearances speak volumes for the man, a real grafter too.

Martyn Madden is the biggest omission I’ve seen so far. He had a couple of seasons with us in the regional era. I think we won the league in one.

Top guy, obviously a very good player or better. Brilliant raconteur. His business should be doing quite nicely in this environment. Edited by Eastern outpost - 02 April 2020 at 8:49pm |

surprised people are so hot on evans, how many good seasons has he has for us? top talent without doubt but iestyn more consistent
how madden didn't get capped for wales is a mystery, then again neither did dai fox and many other players who were much better than the dross wales kept on picking then

I'm with you on Iestyn. Rob is still young enough to make the most of his undoubted skills but Iestyn just kept on coming at you and was a real warrior. I would also put Smiler ahead of Ken. Smiler was a monster scrummager. Over the next couple of seasons I think Ryan has the raw materials to overtake both.

Rob as had a dip in form of late, but should have been on the last Lions Tour ahead of Marler, that season he was superb in all aspects of the game!

Tough choice between One Man Riot and Tadhg. I felt Tadhg was a better back rower than Lock. Wyatt was a better lock for me.

If Wyatt had tadghs attitude then he would imo have been as good as AWJ. To me should have been a test lion and a hell of a lot more caps. Remember Wyatt scoring from about 70 metres out and no one got near him including Christian Cullen. I suppose only Wyatt would be able to explain why he didn't achieve what he should have.
