Four scarlets in it- Iestyn Thomas, Daff Jones, Dwayne Peel and Mark Taylor. The latter's inclusion shows that nothing much has changed, even Gareth llewellyn has to return from Narbonne. And for an early season squad its small.

Dafydd Jones can count himself as lucky. Taylor ahead of MJW?! The only form pick appears to be Ryan Jones.

Personally I'd play Henson at 10. There's nothing which Stephen Jones offers which Henson doesn't. He's an excellent kicker both at goal and from hand. Playing him at 10 would allow us to pick both Shanklin and Parker. Both of whom are playing very well at the moment.

I'm very pleased to see the lack of Scarlets in the Welsh squad. It'll give our boys those few extra games to gel and get together as a unit for the cup. To see Mark Taylor there is good as it gets him away from Stradey for a while. How Dwayne is there I'll never know. He hasn't played this year! and Dafydd hasn't found his form yet! This squad seems to have been picked on history, not current form, though it is good to see the heavy Osprey influence - they deserve it!

Leaves another centre down though, and as much as i hate to say this Mark does a much better job in the centre than Finau.
