Remember how the Ospreys made up practically the whole of Team Wales during the 2008 Six Nations?  Well, I have a feeling that the Scarlets could do the same in the 2018 Six Nations and possibly this year's AIs.  Any thoughts?

Certainly in the backs there is a good chance of quite a few. Back row will be a scarlet free zone unless he picks Shings. At best 11, probably 6/7.

They should, but I can't see there being many changes to the main squad.

This is the problem with Wales - they tend to take a view and stick to it, no matter the evidence to show they made a mistake. Gats puts a huge emphasis on loyalty, which cuts both ways - he seems loathe to drop anyone, no matter how they're playing.

I do sort of get this policy - it would not be good for squad morale if there was too much chopping and changing, or dumping people after one bad game - but Wales have gone too far in the other direction, IMHO.

I share no-one's ideas. I have my own.

I'm more concerned that more scarlets are going to get called up to the squad but not actually get any game time. As a few have said, Gatland will pick same old team but will use players like Elias as tackle bag holders.
History, despite its wrenching pain, cannot be unlived, but if faced with courage, need not be lived again.

Well, the outside backs will be Scarlets, except for the wings will be Scarlets alumni.
And Cawdor will be bench SH,
We'll also provide the starting front row.
And bench lock.

8 starters.

What about Steff Evans?  As well as being the top Pro12 try scorer last season, he did more than anyone else to rescue Wales against the traditional bogey team of Samoa.

Yes I know.  What I meant was why assume that only George North and Liam Williams will be selected as wings, when Steff is really emerging?

I just think Gatland is a conservative selector.

To be fair if all are on form and firing then George & Liam edge out Steff at the moment. Gats also has Hallam Amos to consider. Just as long as we don't get that ridiculous clamour for Giles when he is not ready.

The Welsh management have some big decisions to make with regard to our playing style. Selections at 6/7/10/12 & 15 will indicate how much they have learnt from the Lions tour.

He is although he was pretty bold on the Lions tour in all fairness.
