No worries Eastern!

I'd love another Tongan, unfortunately if you look at the Tonga Rugby wiki, we have two of their and two others are Fifita's brother and Timani at the Blues!

Speaking of... looking at the Scarlets wikipedia page they've updated the squad and it makes for very interesting (visual) reading.

3LH and 3TH - Sam OC would be 4th LH, not sure who from the academy is TH
Hooker - fine - Young would come in as 5th
2nd Row - 5 - potential for Salmon to step up but he's not that tall. Don't know the other two.
Back row - Eeek. 4 players technically on the books. Assuming Fifita moves to 6 more regularly, still only 2 sevens and 2 sixes. Ben Williams and Giannini both to step up at 8 (?) and 7. Hoping Will Plessis is a massive Saffer!
SHs - Fine
OHs - Fine as long as one of the academy guys has potential
Centres - with the ability of Steff and McNicholl and Nicholas to slot in, and Gwilliam and Page coming up we're OK here. I don't think Joe Roberts will make the final RWC squad either (and that's a good thing for him and us I think).
Wings / FB - Callum Williams getting involved... a little shy at FB tbh but I think we'll have to manage.

Trying to be realistic, personally I think we need to forget about signing a prop. A second row is needed so that Fifita can move into the back row regularly. We're still looking light there though. I think the backs will largely stay as they are. Overall 1 SR and 1 BR player... decent signatures with through the year potential.

Will Stowe is a young No 8 from Stowe School, Buckinghamshire! He's on a 5 year contract, though.

I take it that these are your suggestions (from our Academy)for additions to the squad shown on wikipedia.
Will Plessis is not a "massive Saffer" but he is a very good back-rower who has room to fill-out!
Maybe Caleb Salmon would be a better bet as another 8, in which case another second row signing is even more important. Best of luck in your search Cubby!!

With a th, a young x factor hooker and a second row, we are complete.
Maybe a fullback in addition can offer a batter covering, but all depend of o

We need a hooker, two locks and a back rower . What worries me a lot of the younger lads are injury prone .

Salmon looks a good prospect but not big enough, yet. When he played in the friendlies he looked far too small for a back5 player.
The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.

Does anyone know much about him? I haven’t seen him on many team sheets since that appearance in last season’s pre-season match v Nottingham. I assume he’s been injured.

Seen him a few times over a couple of years with RFC and Quins.

Got a long way to go to be a Pro, but he is young and could develop further, tough forward but not the biggest.

Caleb's stats are 6'4" & 112 kgs. looks an ideal no 6/8 for me. Good hands and a tough streak. Nobody will ever replace Aaron in my eyes but this lad could have the minerals in time. I guess he and Giannini will step up to increase our back row options. Of course if we suffer any long term injuries in the back row we do have Iestyn Rees at Llandovery providing, of course, he has not been approached by any other region or indeed a Championship side ion England.

Does anyone know much about Griff Evans of Llandovery. He is 21 & looks to have a physique which could develop in time.

Is Will Plessis the young blond haired flanker who has been playing for the under 20s? If so he looks a good prospect.

That's right. Haven't seen much of him , only a couple of appearances on Rygbi Pawb, but he impressed and the way he played was way above his years - a little like Jac Morgan when he first appeared for us.
