he must be a cheap signing with his track record . Im sorry that he did nothing with us despite the gnashing  and wailing of people when he went to Exeter because he felt English and talk of how good he was. He is 24 now and so really needs to pull his socks up next season. Hopefully someone like Steff Hughes will mentor him.

Wasn’t his move to Exeter blamed on us selecting him on the wing when he saw himself as an outside centre? If that’s where he wants to play he’ll have a better chance with the Dragons than with us.

I think a few on here did get a bit carried away with regards to his potential. He’s never really struck me as someone who would be an influential player.

Dai Flan probably thinks it’s worth a punt. Still a young guy who may kick on

I read what he said about him. His words don’t match the contract.

Don't want to get into a long drawn argument but how many chances has he been given to prove his point?without delving into stats i think when he has played he has scored.

I don’t see him having any points of difference to his game. I’d rate him at 6 or 7 out of 10 in most facets so squad cover is probably his level. If money wasn’t so tight we might’ve wanted to keep him on to play in whatever competition our seconds/development team plays in next season.

My main point is two aging centres and two/three that will be away with Wales from now on. As Ladram says, his strike rate is pretty high. Anyway, good luck lad.

What seems to have gone relatively under the radar is that his non selection is often down to unfortunate mid term length injury...for exmaple he hasn't been available since Janaury, missed a lot last season, and the beginning of this...

In that time Joe, Ioan and Eddy have gone past him.

He rolled the dice with the Exeter move, but didn't get any game time and lost out on valuable time on skills and tactical development.

I am one of Corey's biggest fans with some knowledge family wise. What is not in doubt are three things :-

1. At under 20 level he was regarded as a rising star at 13.
2. When available during his time at PYS & when we had a selection crisis at 13 he was overlooked with even Steff Evans selected ahead of him.
3. His injury record since 20's time has been poor.

All told I don't think I would disagree with anyone who felt that maybe we lost an opportunity somewhere along the line to give him some time at 13 but I would also agree with Wil that injuries may well have played a significant part in that lack of gametime.

Nobody is right or wrong here - I am glad that he has picked up another contract because, like many in Wales, he was looking at perhaps giving up rugby professionally. Good luck Corey - stay fit young man & show what you can do.

Ulster releasing players including a 27-year-old second row, 6ft 8 1/2 and 19st who played 101 game for Nevers in French D2 which is a tough gig. Punt?
