May have met Archie when the Scarlets were out in S.Africa for URC matches or watched his U20 performances. Can't actually remember watching Sacha, but he would probably have the type of skills to complete our backs signings if the WRU would allow it. (Didn't the WRU overule Cardiff's hoped for outside half signing?)
Still, lock the most important signing - one that can help us go over to score from lineouts 10m from the opposition line.

That's another issue for me. From a penalty, we often fail to get a line out 5m from the opposition line.

Admittedly, at 5m, defending sides rarely compete for the ball but choose to set the defence.

Variations and some creativity here may well get us over the line without mauling our way over. A case of working with what we have.

£900k! Maybe that explains why London Irish have gone bankrupt?

Wasp with Scarlets returning to training a week  on Monday  and Van Der Berg announcing the squad yet to be completed.  Do you think there will be new signings announced immently.

Honestly don't know. My post was in response to the post about pre-season.
I know we're in the market, but no other info

If the right player, within budget, came along, we will add to the squad. I dont see any "just for the sake of it signings".
The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.

There's been talk about Van Der berg improving our attacking line out scoring rate from 10m out.  I'm more concerned with how we defend them.  Often seen going back at an alarming rate of knots.  We have other attacking options but none in defence so that has to improve as a priority.

Alex Craig leaving Gloucester... good pedigree, good size, apparently career curtailed by injuries... we've had good luck with this in the past. Surely would come in cheap.
