Sounds a good idea GPR.

Just one thought, should the warm ups and World Cup itself be a separate competition to the Club Competitions?

Been thinking about the world cup proper matches. How about we introduce a scoring system which takes into account the world rankings. Lets look at a couple of examples. Wales (9)v Australia (7). Aus win 1 point Wales win 3 points (1+2 being the difference in rankings). Another Wales (9) v Fiji (13). Wales win 1 point Fiji win 5 points ( 1+4).

At first sight, it sounds fun, different, with logic etc behind it. There is much more work in it for you though, isn’t there?

If the consensus is that it’s a bit complicated, how about the difference in Tiers dictating the points for a win? An extra point for a lower tier side winning. If they’re 2 tiers below maybe they’d deserve 3 points more.

It’ll be interesting to see what’s decided.
