Gatland has said this morning that he's looking to rest his Lions on Friday.

With that in mind, what kind of starting XV will he pick??

As a guess:

15 Hook
14 Walker (is he fit??)
13 Williams (Owen)
12 Beck
11 Sanjay
10 Biggar
9  Williams (Lloyd)
8  Jones (Ryan)
7  Tipuric
6  Lydiate
5  Evans (is he fit??)
4  Charteris
3  Samson
2  Ken
1  Jenkins (Paul James I'd choose, but he's unavailable)

Thoughts??
Think, think, think - it's a thinking man's game!! - The Great Carwyn James.

Hook will play 10.
He won't risk Biggar (unless he picks his strongest 15)

My interest in these games is becoming zero.

In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

I think Lee Byrne needs to be called upon to give 1/2p a rest. Wierd how Gatty doesnt rate him despite playing for the best club team in europe. Scott & Hook at 12/13 im guessing.
One eyed turk, nothing more nothing less.

I used to be so proud of Llanelli and then Scarlets boys gaining Wales honours but in the last 2 years I have also become more and more disinterested/apathetic about our national team  ( with the exception of playing England which goes without saying!)and other than hoping Scarlets have no injuries to come home with, as I cannot curtail the bitterness I feel towards the WRFU for the way they are working with the regions. If Lewis turned up and was tannoyed as a special guest to any region in Wales he would I am sure, be boo'd to oblivion whilst if this was his English RFU counterpart there would be none of it. That would say it all-so I call on Lewis to visit all "his" beloved regions and see how popular he is! I cannot understand how his WRFU colleagues just do nothing or that the system is so parylised and does not allow someone to take any steps to solve this matter!

It's certainly a horrible paradox for us regional fans.

Isn't Patchell in the welsh squad? Wouldn't be surprised if he made the bench at least - if Gats wanted to rest a 10 for Australia...

i watched the 1st half of the france v tonga game, last Saturday, and was very impressed in which they approached the game.kept the ball in hand all the time, hardly kicked at all.i feel, they will cause wales problems behind the scrum.however,as with Fiji and samoa, tonga's Achilles heel is their scrum, and wales i feel, should play it tight, and beat them up front, then let loose, final 20mins of game.
