Thought I’d try the Guinness 0.0. It seems to have a very nice taste.

Not entirely sure it really is low alcohol, as my head feels funny after browsing through today’s deluge on the politics thread…….

Off now in search of an Italian red - a barolledover might be suitable after my feelings about this weekend’s games.

Guinness zero has helped keep me sane for  the last year . Not up there with a pint of draft Guinness in Dublin but very similar to a can of of Guinness draft just slightly sweeter. Stouts and American IPAs tend to make the best alcohol free beers.

Went down to the new neighbours at half time in France v Wales for drinks and “we can watch the second half together”.

A lovely red Sancerre, as first recommended on here by RR was open and very nice indeed.

No rugby, although not a problem as the conversation was great and more cheery than the Wales performance.

Back home for dinner of cote de boeuf with an American Cab Sav from Drew Bledsoe, a former NFL Quarterback growing and making luxury wine in Washington, although Walla Walla sounds more Oz or Kiwi than the US. Their Double Back red was perfectly fine although I might have opened it a bit too soon for its best taste.

Anyone tried Poretti lager? Yes, with a P.

It was on tap at our local until they trimmed their choices over the winter. More expensive than other lagers there, those that drank it regularly said it was worth the extra. I hadn’t tried it until this afternoon.

EOjr called in having picked up a few bottles at the Co-op. Extremely tasty and noticeably good from the first mouthful.

Somehow, you being an apprentice doesn’t really seem a natural role for you.
