Just a bit of fun to see whether we could overhaul Cardiff to win the Welsh Shield and Heineken Cup Rugby, or Connacht who are currently 8th.

Both are unlikely and would require us to win all 4 remaining games

This would be the first time Cardiff have finished above us in the league since 2009/10. Dan Fish went through his whole Cardiff career without finishing above us.

We will win everything...because we are the Scarlets.

Yeah we chucked away the advantage that our early home fixtures gave us, sadly.

Well Wasp that was some inspirational predicting. Have you thought about joining the Baz Lewis predictions team.

Ok we are now 5 points behind Cardiff & level with the Ospreys before their games this weekend. We have left our charge very late but judging by the spirit and no lack of endeavour on display in Cork last night nothing is beyond this team at the moment - shades of our march to the title back in the day.

I like not only Wasp’s idea of us beating Glasgow up there but also the thought of doing that to a side so far up the table.

Our performances have started to become a warning to all teams in the URC - we are dangerous. Rowntree's observation before yesterday's game was that we were one of if not the best team in the URC for transitioning. Takes me back to the glory days of the title.

We have players who excel in that situation - Louisi is always on the look out for his chance, Dan Davis, Shaun Evans, Sam Wainwright & the returning Josh McLoud are always looking to jackal with Fifita such a willing & effective runner ready to combine with his backs with outrageously good hands. The financial future may be bleak but not the young talent blossoming in our squad.

In an ideal world we need Benetton to beat the Ospreys, Ulster to beat the Blues and the Dragons to beat Connacht.

Cardiff are a bit of an enigma. They went the second quarter of the season looking like the best team in the league. We on the other hand were diabolical and are now catching up a little to late.

I’ve written off this season for any hope of the playoffs/ silverware . Nice to see the squad are putting a bit of pride back in the shirt, as of late.

Lets be brutally honest - our performances pre Xmas should have made it impossible to reach the play offs. As far as silverware thats a totally different story. I owe kentexile a pint of guinness and I aim to be buying it on a Friday night in May somewhere in Dublin. Thumbs Up

I think we’ll see three ŵins for the Welsh teams today.  Lots will be playing to impress their current and/or future employer.
Keep the faith
