I've been asked to be a "Lions 2013 Tour leader" with a company that I used during the Lions tour to South Africa 2009.  Company used http://www.sportsescapes.com/

Many of you might now me as I frequent most Scarlets games home and away.

If interested please private message me or post......

A few of us are doing the 3 Test matches. All comes down to cost of course Wink

Personally I’m doing a 5 week tour with a stopover in Singapore and a stop on the way back.

I’m doing all the 3 Tests with travels in-between.  Some people who are coming on the tour are doing mid-week game and 2 tests.

The company will tailor the tour for the individuals but will try and keep the core tour together around Tests and anything else they go and see.

I’ve been informed that the flight prices will be confirmed in August.  If interested they will need to know on match tickets numbers as these will need to be put on hold…..  All of my test match tickets have been booked.

Hi,
The company I use from the UK was a lot cheaper than Gullivers when we went to South Africa.... I have a list of places that I want to visit when I get there between the Tests. Have you had a look at their web site?

Company that we used in SA will do all the arrangements and bookings for you.  I can take your requirments to Ingram and email you a quote.... ?

I'm planning to catch up with Ingram mid July when he returns from SA and I'm happy to take all requirments from individuals to him so we can plan this out and receive quotes.  Flights from the UK are due to be finalised in August.

My list so far is:

Hiring a camper van to do the great ocean road
Blue mountains
Alice Springs
Red rock center

Let me know......

I have now sent a list of places that I/we would like to see in-between tests to the company that I hope to do my trip with.  Also the tour operator is looking at obtaining match tickets through another source as Gullivers are selling them on at a very high increased price.
My contact is due back in this country at the weekend and we have arranged to meet up and discuss the tour in detail.

Prices will follow shortly.

Update on my trip to Australia……  Its gathering momentum this week and we have or are in the process of booking our flights out.

Flying to Singapore on Monday 17th June with Singapore airlines,  2 nights in Singapore before we head to Brisbane for the first test.  After the first test we are off to Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef before heading to Melbourne for the 2nd test.

Camper van from Melbourne to Sydney doing the great ocean road….   Arrive in Sydney on the Thursday.  After 3rd test we are off to the Blue Mountains and will be heading back on the Monday 15th July.
The finer detail will be arranged and wil be available on the toescapeto web site in the next few weeks.  They have appointed a team on the ground now i Australia and one member of the team is flying over to Cape town next week where they will be discussiing the options of what to do and see in-between tests.
