I've left voicemail and an email with the chairman of the Bristol Supporters Trust, giving my contact details for him to get back to me.

Apart from the obvious questions about setting up the trust and encouraging members, I've asked him how did he approach the mangement at the club and how did they avoid being seen as a clique by other supporters?

Does anyone have any other burning questions that they'd like answered?

Good stuff.
Would be interesting to know how their 'steering group' evolve early on.

I think you've covered everything I can think of between you.

That sounds great Abbey. Go for it.

One complication they haven't got I suppose is the 'Regional issues' Phil talked about. They don't have feeder clubs as far as I know and no boundaries drawn up by the RFU.  It would be interesting to know what boundaries they use to define their 'community'. Do the help any other rugby clubs apart from Bristol and the reserve team?

You're right TS, the Regional aspects of this are going to be tricky and AFAIK there's no other Trust in quite our position, so we're going to have to work it out ourselves.
Some things advised to be done early on the SD website need us to be clear on this: inviting "local MPs etc" to be present at the open meeting, contacting "local media" spring to mind for a start.  I suggest we try to clarify our position on this at the next meeting, or at least clarify the options and their consequences.
