Ireland are not convincing me at the moment - is the World No 1 tag sitting uncomfortably with them? Are we seeing the start of what has happened previously - peaking too early - remember Schmidt's team getting blown away by NZ at the last World Cup - surely not. Farrell won't be happy - he will want a rolls royce effort next weekend thats for sure.

One small comfort - it looks like they may have found Sexton's long term successor - Jack Crawley - a very assured 1st test for young man. Remember the name.

Watched a load of rugby yesterday - highlight - Fijian backs. Any Welsh connections with their 12 & 13. Superb running & offloading ability from 11-15. If they could keep 15 men on the field for 80 minutes they are going to worry a few teams including Wales in the group game at France 23.

Scotland gave it a good crack in fairness. The efficiency which NZ possess when in the red zone sets them apart. Scotland should have added tries just before & just after half time when they had the chance. A combination of white line fever & great defence stopped them building a match winning total. 

Not great viewing I would say for the Welsh squad and coaches.
