Currently I don't think he would get into our first 15

That was on the cards until the WRU decided the best way forward is to drastically slash money for rugby players.

I’d venture that’s extremely unlikely with the salary caps. Grim years ahead across the board in Wales.

Good player, good attitude, just never got an extended and injury free run with us sadly.
Yes very unfortunate with injuries etc. Medical joker to USM and joins ex-scarlet Paulino there, good luck to him.
Quality player but we never really got to see the best of him. I’d imagine he frees up a sizeable chunk of money.
Between him, Blade, and Kal that’s probably a good way towards the new cap.
We've saved money but lost a whole back row at the same time there.  Along with Shingler, who can't have many more games left in him, that leaves us relying on a lot of quite inexperienced players.  It could be a difficult couple of years.
On paper yes, but Lezana played not even two dozen matches in two seasons, Blade was similarly absent over his 4.5 seasons for unfortunate reasons. It’s all well and good having them, but if they miss more than they’re fit it’s an issue. Kal has been stupendiously reliable.

Its unfortunate  for him, he  never had a run of games because of injuries.  That can happen to anyone .
He never  seemed to have the attacking dexterity, or turnover skill of a 7, and not quite  the carrying physicality  of a 6.He was committed  however and a good tacker,a decent player , but not of a player on wages of overseas international .
We can better use the cash elsewhere..,second row, would be a start.
I wish him well however in his new life in France.
Yes I totally agree Pimp 👍 I think it was a mistake on reflection as he never nailed down a starting spot. Disappointing but it’s good he is moving on and that he has a job.

Lezana another player with skills and ability we hardly enjoyed with injuries and its a shame tbh.
Perhaps the French weather and lifestyle will keep him fitter and he can enjoy his rugby and good luck to him.
I wish him well and his family for being part of the Scarlet family, thankyou Sir.

In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

"All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us"

He and most of the other ex-Jaguares players were scrambling around for contracts at the time we picked him up so he might not have been on big money.

Macleod and Dan Davis fit is probably the governing factor in that early release.

And hopefully Luca Giannini in the coming years!

Yes, I’m sure that it does, We just have to invest that money wisely as any unwise purchase will be seized upon by the WRU and the WOL as another example of the regions squandering money.
