Many thanks, as always, to my fellow tourists for your prompt, as always, payment of the final accounts. To those of you who clearly have difficulty reading numbers ( you know who you are) your generosity is very humbling though unnecessary & certainly not expected. Many thanks nevertheless. The gifts will form a kitty for the next time we share a fever tour, hopefully in the not too distant future, so the first drinks for you will be on me. ClapThumbs UpThumbs Up

Ok fellow tourists there appears to be a problem with our PM system so the final bill for hotel cannot be forwarded. Could Tim, Leigh & Mark ( 157cb) send me a text to 07485234417 & I will send it over. Cheers everyone.

He still talks to friends in the Ospreys and to quote him, "they all say Welsh rugby is in a mess with players taking a 50% reduction" It was truly a great w/e, and it is 20 years since my first one in Agen, when we lost in a force 10, but only by around 3 points or so.

The experience may let me rejoin the Forum, on the knowledge I will probably wind some people up, but Gareth said it is a forum for everyone.

Take care

Hi all from the Fever One Tour.
I was not part of the trip, but I did meet a lot on the tour, most I never knew except their "names" on Scarlet Fever. It was wonderful to meet you all, it was a great w/e, enhanced by my new friends. We drank a few bottles of vin rouge and as Gareth said exchanged rugby tales over the past 50/60 years, even though openly admitting I was a rugby player by name only, but still enjoyed the game, I have a lot in common with the young props in the Scarlets. On the rugby front I spoke to Tyrone Ardron ex Ospreys back 5 player who is now Castres 1st choice 8, he was glad to meet us as he rarely spoke English now, but a really good guy, and he explained that the budget for Castres was between £15-£20 million, and he just smiled when we told him the Scarlets were in the region of £5 million, that was the difference on the day, the team played reasonably well, except for the lineout, and only fell apart when both benches arrived. That is what the Scarlets are up against this season.
Gareth my carers (I rather that than minders) were Bryan & John. Thanks again Fever Tour hope to see you all again either at home or abroad. The only trouble this time was I came home with a horrible cold, which has messed my next 3-4 days. I hope to make the big game on Sat.. Llanelli Wanderers v Kidwelly, and also the preview on Friday playing against the Black Lion. Diolch yn fawr pawb. Nadolig Llawen a Blwyddyn Newydd Dda i chi gyd.
Dai, delighted to hear that you met Tyler. Always thought he was a decent player and there was some discussion on here about whether to sign him, when cast adrift by our neighbours.

It goes to show that Castres’s eye was keener than the forum majority and anyone else at the club. I think it took a while before he was signed by them.

The importance of speaking your mother tongue is high on the expats list so it was great that he was around. Where did you see him? The Gary Whetton Bar?

Hope you recover quickly and are declared fit for both your fixtures this weekend.
