It is & to be honest it's systematic of what's happening across the community game too.

In Welsh Club rugby this season, there have 190 20-0 BP wins awarded for match cancellations. Unbelievable amount, and well over 400 games postponed/cancelled.

Doesn’t help when you have players who play for premiership and championship sides permitting to smaller teams in div 3!!

Prem players can’t play below Div One! 🤷🏼‍♂️
You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win.

They can if they’re playing for their club of origin. Played against Jack Price last season in div 3.

Yep. Not for this thread, but some of the league's are being won by either playing a load of Prem players in key games, or from weaker teams throwing games and giving the opponents 5 points.

So far this week, in Div 1 West, of the 8 fixtures planned, 4 have been walkovers (and it's only Friday morning).

Kills the game form a match day income/hospitality point of view.

This was obvious months ago as teams that didn't fulfil fixtures were given 'rearranged' dates...those same fixtures are now walkovers...the rearranged games triggered an obvious end of season fixture bus crash.
Most teams still have 3/4/5 league games left to play. Most of them will end up 20-0.

April simply cannot be your busiest fixture month.

Agreed Wil, we share our pitch with the cricket team so we have to get our home games done by the end of April. We have played midweek games to get this done. Our last scheduled match is the 20th May by which time half our team will be playing cricket.

Unless it's genuinely weather related it should be a 20-nil win straight away, it doesn't solve the problem around teams being unable to field a team but at least it avoids such a mess at the end of the season.

It's similar in youth rugby too with the added mess of having some pre and post Christmas leagues, with the pre Christmas uncompleted league deciding who goes into what leagues post Christmas.

Good luck to Corey B at the Dragons. The Scarlets ‘b team’
will be keen to thrash our backsides for years to come.

This is another of those decisions which has baffled me.

I see Bedwas have forfeited their game v Pontypool as well. Injuries and probably expecting a thrashing. You would just not expect this . I still can’t accept the rfc farce in not honouring games.
