I've just realised, if Ireland beat England & England only get 1 match day point, England will finish 5th assuming that Scotland do the business over Italy with a BP win.

At risk of sounding like a bore what is the prize money differences between the finishing places?

Edit Found 2020:

As Six Nations winners, England received a prize of £5m in 2020. A £1m bonus was also available for completing a Grand Slam.

Grand Slam: £6m

2nd: £3.5m

3rd: £2.5m

4th: £2m

5th: £1.5m

6th: £1m

If the winning team doesn’t win a grand slam the £1m bonus is split between the remaining 5 teams.

I guess there’s a bit more motivation 😅

So for Scotland, England and Ireland the remaining games could be the difference between £1.5m and £3.5m.

£2m doesn’t go amiss in covid times.

If this doesn’t get cited it would be a disgrace. Min 6 week ban is what he deserves.

I noticed that in real time and was surprised the TMO didn't spot it.

Scotland weathering the storm. Barnes wants to referee a classic it seems.

French pressure finally pays. Scotland on final warning for penalties conceded, 9 in 35 mins.

Does Barnes not know that a knock on/ forward pass is an offence. Seems like he’s not noticed an unusually high number of them in the first half. Scotland need to sort out their discipline if they want any chance if winning this (or lose by less than 21 points!).

Brilliant game to end a brilliant tournament. Amazing for Wales to win the tournament and a wonderful Six Nations for Scotland as well. Btw does anyone know when was the last time Scotland beat both England and France away?

Extra:- Just realised that Scotland actually only finished 4th in the tournament, but only 1 points behind 2nd. A remarkably close and competitive tournament, and wonderful entertainment over the last month and a half.
