Totally agree, I think I read that Kristian Dacey was going semi pro & getting a second job which means he would earn more per year than the contract that Cardiff offered him.

that is a disgrace Fscarlet, totally understand what kristian has done. end of the day you need to bring in a wage that you and your family can live on. WRU have made a pigs ear of this.
Once a Scarlet, always a Scarlet!

Agree 100%. The thing is I know people are slating the players who are currently on £250k having to drop down & get paid less but the fact of life is once you get accustomed to living with that salary it's hard to take a pay cut.

Good question Oracle.  I would guess the answer is a resounding no.
I would also guess that if they had taken a cut, that 'sacrifice '  would have been written large across the news headlines.
Keep the faith

Sean Robinson released by Newcastle would fit the bill , around all season.

Let’s hope it’s a case of us waiting for a better option than not having the space left under the cap to sign him.

Apparently we still have the finances for a handful of players, with Lock and Backrow the priorities.

I don’t know how many players are still available but Ben Fry as a squad man wouldn’t be the worst choice
Northamptons Salakai-Loto(Samoan/Australian) has left because of family issues, maybe our group of islanders can welcome him and make his family feel at home.

He has signed for the Melbourne Rebels.

Before we can think of signing a mediocre player like Ben Fry, we first need to decide what players are coming in from the Academy or are being signed from other academies because they are surplus to their requirements or outside their budget.
