It’s about time we had another Dafydd James type of winger. It’s nice to have balance on the wing one big un and one nipper.

Scarlets to play Bath in a training game on Friday in Bath, hopefully a good hit out for us and boys get game time..We did play Wales in a training game 2 weeks ago and by all accounts it went well..Wales had the edge up front with a few catch and drive tries but our backs created alot and scored 3 tries..Wales didn't play a recognised 10 with Tomos Williams/Liam playing a half each..Costy had a concussion procall 7 days after SA game,Anscombe was in plaster on his thumb and Bigger not used...Only downside for us looks like Steff Evs picked up a bad hamstring injury (8-12 weeks)...

Caleb Salmon & Iestyn Gwilliam on the bench are academy too
Drovers have Harry Thomas(last season’s U18’s captain) & Macs Page plus Harri Doel is always worth keeping an eye on

So the senior academy boys are being farmed to the feeder clubs which with LLandovery is a good thing I believe. Give them meaningful consistent rugby which the RFC couldn’t give.
