Spurs for me don't really have that animal - nearest we have I guess is Rodrygo Bentacur but he is too attack minded.

Look how Man City have missed Rodri this season. Nothing flash & rarely passes the ball more than 10 metres but absolutely crucial to the more attack minded colleagues.

I think Bissouma is closer than Bentancur to that '6' type role, but i do agree. That Roy Keane / Patrick Viera type player who can do it all is a rare player.

Mcallister at Liverpool is the type. Fabulous player.

Sympathies for long suffering Scarlets fans who have the misfortune to follow a dysfunctional footie club that can delight but spends more time enfuriating their followers.

Top marks for loyalty and persistence.

To be honest with you, being a spurs fan can be as frustrating es being a scarlets fan some seasons.  You could say that I’m a glutton for punishment.

Yes, I’ll give in 2 seasons max, and that’s being generous.  The moment we go a bad run of results, he pushes levy for funds or he complains about the length of grass on the training pitch Levy will relieve him of his duties - which include trying to win everything but with both hands tied behind his back.
Rumours have it that Ange is being considered for the Leeds United Manager’s job.

I wish him well. As Wil says the payoff will be great when it comes.

Like Gareth, I wish Ange  well.  Seems a decent guy.
He's a typical confident  Aussie, and will bounce back.
Regarding  Thomas Frank, Legend is spot on.
How long can  you estimate  he will survive under Levy...18 months, 2 years.?
Short  term payday, long term disaster for him Ouch

Mental how they finished one spot above the relegation zone and they qualify for the champions league, and we thought the URC rules were a joke. LOL

Isn’t that what happens in the English Premiership every year with all but the bottom 2 sides playing in the champions cup and the bottom 2 playing in the challenge cup.

So we are a month on since Ange was sacked and nearly 3 weeks in since Frank took over and despite all the talk of backing the new manager with signings, the only signing made have been for 2 players who were there last season on loan.
Levy may well be running the club well financially, but if he continues in this vein it will be another 17 years til we win another trophy.
Every premier league side are announcing new signings on a weekly basis but all spurs fans see are rumours of players arriving only to see them sign for fellow premier league clubs who have just got the deal done and not dilly dallied over a million pound here or there.
I can see what will happen.  Frank won’t get any of the players that he wanted or was promised and instead Levy will end up bringing in a few loan signing on transfer deadline day.  It happened with Pochettino (the season we reached the champions league final (2019) and lost to Liverpool.  He asked for reinforcements in the January and got none, and then didn’t get any in the close season - which may have meant that we kicked on from that and not gone backwards (like we have since then).

Spurs in talks with kudus from West Ham

Plenty of time for clubs to do business
Chelsea Arsenal and Liverpool already making signings so lots of dels being discussed

That’s the problem hoppy, lots of talking going on but no signing.  We have (allegedly) been in talks with about 10 players so far this off season but none of the talks have materialised due to Levy’s contract negotiation style.
Levy has negotiated and missed out whilst Liverpool and Arsenal just pay the asking price and moved on.
