Plenty of time for clubs to do business
Chelsea Arsenal and Liverpool already making signings so lots of dels being discussed

Have heard they need to raise £60m through player sales to be able to register everyone for the Champions League.

Kudus is a frustrating watch. Lost his mojo last season - 1 goal - 5 assists. Pretty average for an attacking player.

Overall I think getting £55m is good business ( we paid £38m).

Played out of position by all accounts. Time will tell.

Whisper it quietly but thats two good wins playing a totally different way to Angeball. Kudus looking every bit a £50m + player in fairness. Looks like he left a sinking ship - sorry Wil that was below the belt.Ouch

I’ve got to agree with the comments above about the good start and the impact Kudus has made since signing.
Whilst we have made a decent start to the campaign with 2 wins and 2 clean sheets it’s still very early.  As a Tottenham fan we remember Nuno Espírito Santo  going unbeaten in his first month and winning manager of the month, same for big Ange who was at the helm for the 10 game unbeaten run at the start of the 23/24 season, so I won’t be getting carried away just yet.
There are however some very good signs.  Under Santo we were very strong in defence but just looked to sneak a goal the other end of the field, under big Ange we just attacked from all parts of the field but forgot how to defend and to close out game.
Under Frank we seem to set up with a back 4 that is very compact and quick, and the midfield sitting just in front of them, who also get through a lot of defensive work but who then have the freedom and ability to switch play quickly to the other end of the field.
Also it’s clear from the first 2 matches that he adapts the game plan according to what the opposition does and how the game is going.  As much as I loved Ange ball, there was no plan B when teams worked us out and when we were chasing the game.
I still feel that we need to strengthen, we definitely need a no10 as Madison is out til the new year and may not return to the levels before his ASL injury, we could also do with another attacking midfielder as Kulasevski is also out until the new year, we also need a centre back as VDV is injury prone as is Romero (to a lesser extent) who is also prone to red cards.
Do I think they will get these players in over the next week, the answer is “No”, Levy has again shown this summer that his push for that extra £1 million off here and there, his push to offer players he doesn’t want in lieu of paying the asking price has seen Eze join arsenal at the 11th hour.

Definitely not getting carries away but impressed so far by the manager & his set up. Don't forget we have Danso in reserve to cover central defenders. Palhinha I think is a very shrewd signing who gives his back 4 protection. Need to get a couple of deals over the line this week.

Not so sure about Eze; think he had been tapped up by Arsenal so delayed things & being an ex Arsenal academy player made it a no brainer when the offer came.

Daniel Levy has finally stood down as executive chairman of Tottenham Hotspur after 24 years at the helm.
He will leave a mixed legacy.  He has seen them build one of the best stadiums in the world and a training facility that again is the envy of most sides, he has also turned them into one of the most financially stable clubs in world football.
However he has also been at the helm during the most barren period in the club’s history, with only 2 trophies and 16 different managers during his tenure.
It looks like his lack of support for his numerous managers in during numerous transfer windows has finally seen him and Joe Lewis finally fall out.
This may well pave the way for a takeover of the club, which has mooted for a while but hasn’t materialised, probably due in part to his negotiating style.

I am torn in all honesty. Better the devil you know in some cases. Careful what you wish for also comes to mind. Some of the flak he has received from supposed fans is crazy. Time will tell. Nobody can argue that he leaves the reins to a very healthy club financially. Lets see what superstars will now be lining up to sign starting with Harry Kane perhaps????????

Im no spurs expert but they have 1 of the biggest revenues in the world and as you say a phenomenal stadium and training facilities which in the seasons ahead should attract the best players...Its always mystified me why spurs are always languishing behind the gooners and chelski ....Is it down to the owners not buying the right players ? or the wrong managers?

Well Levy has been responsible for appointing the last 16 managers, so if they were the wrong appointments then no one else can take the blame for the that.
The players are partly the responsibility of the director of football, the manager/head coach and Levy (who has final say with regards to the transfer/fee to be paid etc).

Ange is from Greek stock, who's family settled in Oz., so maybe will get on better with the Greek owner
I actually  like him, but last season with so many defenders  and others out it was difficult.  He sets his teams up to attack( like Klopp), but when the defending  us poor, there's trouble.
Will he last long with  the volatile  Greek,  who's to know?
That question  is better answered by Spurs fans,  Legendinmybathroom,  GPR Rochester,  and Hoppy.
They will have a far better idea than me.
