I actually  like him, but last season with so many defenders  and others out it was difficult.  He sets his teams up to attack( like Klopp), but when the defending  us poor, there's trouble.
Will he last long with  the volatile  Greek,  who's to know?
That question  is better answered by Spurs fans,  Legendinmybathroom,  GPR Rochester,  and Hoppy.
They will have a far better idea than me.

Not many last long Mark. Ange is a decent guy, very likeable - not traits that I would be looking for in a winner manager but he will be comforted by a 2/3 year contract so nothing to lose really. Amorim may well be the next to go.

Cannot disagree with you about the all round good guy. His style however requires extremely fit players even by Premier league standards & defenders who are extremely quick to recover ground they leave invitingly behind them as they press so high. It came  a cropper last season when the fastest defender in the Premier league van de Ven missed so many games.

Ange's inability to alter his tactics even if only in away games eventually got him the sack.

See Ange has spent his time away from footy perfecting his defensive coaching skills. Two games 6 conceded, two losses. 3 conceded against Swansea City last night. Some things never change. Meanwhile Spurs concede 1 goal in 5 games - perhaps the gods are telling Ange something.

Not a very good start for Ange Postecoglou three goals in each game conceded  bet you spurs fans glad he was sacked

But hell  of a comeback by swans last night  two nil down

Great win for the Swans for sure. Every great manager is prepared to change his tactics. Ange & Amorim seem very stubborn & will probably pay the price.

I was very surprised when I saw the result on the new last night.  As a spurs fan I have a soft spot for Big Ange and I was pleased when he got back into management last week.
Last night showed what every spurs fan has seen over the 2 seasons he was in charge.  He sets his teams up to attack from everywhere, with his defence pressing up around the halfway line, that produced some amazing results (0-4 win away to Manchester City) but when it went wrong it produced some embarrassing results.  He didn’t have the ability or the nouse to change tactics depending on the opposition or the scoreline.
One problem with his appointment at Nottingham Forest is that his attacking and high pressing game is not consistent with the backline at Forest, who have been brought in to play a contrasting style of play (NES was always a very pragmatic manager who sets up his teams to not concede goals first and then to quickly counterattack), this will take a long time to change and may require a change in personnel, but unfortunately the NF hierarchy have a history of not giving managers much time to implementing their own ideas.

Ange has been sacked by Nottingham Forest after just 8 wins in charge.  The loving of a fellow Greek didn’t last long.  Forest now in the market for their 3rd manager this season (and we aren’t even into November yet).
They should never have sacked Nuno, under him they got European football for the first time in many years and looked difficult to score against whilst being quite lethal on the counter attack.  It’s a perfect example of being careful about what you wish for.  The owner wanted a more attractive style of play and have now seen 2 draws and 6 losses since then.

Frankly the owner has got whab he deserves. The way he treated Nuno was ridiculous. I am no fan of Ange's style of football but I like the guy. 39 days in charge is a joke & I hope Forest now get relegated.

From an Ange point of view that has to be a tidy pay out for 40 days work..

This hire and fire thing sits uneasily with me.

I understand it’s the owners call but no manager of any standing would want to take on a position like the one at Forest right now now.

Forest were overachieving, everyone with an ounce of sense could see that.
