Sad feeling

Posh is overrated - nothing wrong with shorts, flop flops & hitchhiking I say. Wink

Think John Barclay has taken his (not necessarily) Nic White tribute moustache a bit far.

Greg Laidlaw looks to have aged a lot since his retirement from playing.

Think we will fund out whether Father Time has in fact caught up with quite a few of this Irish team.

NZ trying a few new combos in the back line.

Irish dismantled there by a team with far superior attacking skills...the ab's seem to beat almost every 1st up tackle......They even took down the irish scrum 2nd half. Ireland need to retire a few..I wouldnt say theyre a side past it though...Teams are always in transition and they always seem to have a factory belt of talent especially in back row etc

All the talk pre game was Ireland being undercooked. Conan - 1st game since Lions tour with Doris straight back after a long lay off & many with only one game under their belts - madness. They could have got away with it against Japan but not the All Blacks.

Cannot get away from feeling Ireland are on a downward trend with age catching up with many of their players. Farrell is about to earn his corn. England won comfortably in the end but they should have put 40+ on Australia so plenty to work on.

Gibson Park is class, and they look to have a couple of young bucks coming through, but a 33 year old McCloskey replacing a 35 year old Aki at 12, with a 31 year old Ringrose, is the key to the future of the Irish attack...all good players, but not sure they can be the centres for the next RWC.
No line breaks and had a tough time against the AB's centres.

Did you see Beirne’s ‘red card’? Never seen anything so ridiculous.

Agree, all Bernie did was stand his ground and  brace himself for contact.
If anything Barrat 'assauted' Bernie.  A penalty was harsh, a red card ridiculous.
Keep the faith

Red card every day according to the laws.

He moved towards the ball carrier. So not passive.
He actively moved his arm shape into a straight arm.
His shoulder connected with the ball carriers head, with force.
He never wrapped his arms or offered a tackle.
He was upright.
