Went to the gig at the CIA Cardiff last Thursday.
A bit expensive at £66 a ticket, but it was my birthday and thought I'd treat my daughters their partners and the girlfriend to a night out.

I just love MK. Melodic songs, and what a guitar player !

Ths icon Bob Dylan I must say was a serious disappointment.

Sound deliberately turned up to mask the fact that his voice has gone.

Only recognised one song, Hard Rain, and then after he had sang the chorus twice !

Good to hear some of his harmonica playing though.

Hope you don't mind me asking, but where did your mate see him, and why was he so disappointed ?

In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

"All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us"

I thought someone had bred some kind of super musician when I first saw the title of this thread.

I tried to grow a Glen Danzig Captain Sensible in my lab last year, unfortunately the experiment went wrong and I ended up with a David Essex Robson Green, not even Simon Cowell wanted to buy it.

I dread to think what that would sound like.

I'm a bit annoyed that Dylan is still touring and charging crazy prices just to let people say "I've seen him live". How can it be justified? He sounds like he's about to keel over at any point. Shame.

went to see him in cardiff few years ago, sounds like it was the same gig as your mate ladram .big group of us went. really looked forward to it, but went for a drink afterwards as we do, talk about fav points of the gig etc, it was so weird, took a while for one of us to say "Ok, am I allowed to say a legend was terrible?" then we all carried on forgeting we went to the gig! huge disapointment. still like listening to his records, but seeing him live, after that performance, ill think twice, especially when it was £75.
that gig was one of the worse i have seen.

Probably like one of the Damned latest albums. I always thought that Dave Vanian shounded a bit like Glen anyway.  I should have tried to create a more bi-polar chimera.
