Surely Scarlets v Bristol could have played at Parc on Sunday. Bordeaux tickets to be used ..Then reverse the fixture in January..

Amazed if there was no contingencies in place, as the French fixtures were in doubt early in week .

Bristol have a 5 point win under their belts, why would they agree to come down to us and jeopardise that?

Because they need game time, that's why. Could even  play home game now and then Bordeaux home in January.

The money gained from a home fixture in January?
It won’t happen like, but still…

Would you risk and the loss of a five point win for a bit of game time.....not sure I would, if I am right they have played far more than us this season.

We are the ones desparate for game time not Bristol.
Bristol have played 9 or 10 games , we've played 5!
Keep the faith

And we will just accept it all and be reactive as usual. " Hom hum, it is what it is. Just got to get on with it"

We have taught our selves for so many years to be bottom feeders, we just fall in line.

No spunk, no fight. Time for our board to grow some potatoes between their legs and stand up for whats right.

If we show compliance yet again we are merely supporting this pwp pot organisation.

No financial wherewithal to take any of these governing bodies on, more like.
We must be on our arse this season. Another big loss incoming. Doubt we'll have crowds in for the Os game.

Our problem is that there were no governmental legal barriers to prevent the Bristol game being played but due to problems emanating from a different tournament run by the URC, we were unable to field a fit team. We were never prevented from playing and could  have played if eg , we bought in and registered short term deals but it would have cost a lot and still have been a scratch team likely to lose. Hence the forfeit decision.

I don’t see any change of mind from them and still blame the URC for presumably requiring us to go to SA ! Will we get the expense back from them or will it be just a loss ?

Crazy to think our last game was end of October and our next will probably be Boxing Day.

I think 2 days would have been quite a push for Bristol supporters.

I strongly suspect no games or only behind closed doors although the governments seem to want to try and keep it going until Xmas so the Cardiff game may escape but I really fear for the Ospreys on NYD as I can see a mini look down by then !🥲
