Wasn't sure where to post this, but here goes,
With the success of previous concerts at Parc y Scarlets, how about having a concert for fans of heavier music? Sure to get a good turnout, get some decent bands on stage, give some local bands to open.
Opinions please + who you'd like to see. The barn could be used, you could easily fit a decent size stage in there?

As long as they use a decent PA - OMA weren't helped last night - the sound was poor.
What's going on?

Got some great ideas,Rancid would be an absolute killer, they're playing uk dates next year so why not? Also wouldn't mind Rammstein, but i think the Parc might be a bit too small!!!!

I think it would have to be more mainstream ...after all if people get upset by a 'Ref is a W***** ' chant . i really cant see them enjoy some of these Lyrics...LOL
We are really limited on suitable entertainment ...Still cant see what was wrong with the Red Kites...but there were even complaints from people then who didnt like them ...Probably Ugloid woman with poor memorys

My favourite band as well!!would be a mental gig! We'd have to get someone more like Lostprophets or KIGH(horrified face), maybe Stereophonics? Super Furries would be a great show,

ignoring certain tastes in music and looking from a purely success angle. you cannot fail with the type of concert like bryan adams bon jovi def lepard etc.

soft rock. easier to book now. i went to see bryan adams in the brewery field a few years ago and it was brilliant. he has beverly knight in support. she was awesome.

she was on the billing for enjoy in the summer, and did well in connecting with llanelli people. being the only one to actually pronounce Llanelli properly.

now i know these acts won`t be the favourite music styles of many of our forum members, but they would guarantee the concert is a success.

I can see where your coming from Speedy, and i sort of agree with you, but a very large part of me sticks with my base in Alternative music tbh. It would make a good call though.

Amazing band, i've seen them live a few times.
Though back to topic, a Madness/Specials/Toots and the Maytals bill would be appreciated! Or the QuoWink
