Another good win for NDS vs a very good Tumble side, NDS forward dominance is streets ahead of any other team in the division. Ex Scarlet Ben Leung showing that he was probably harshly treated in the pro game with his skill set way ahead of some. Stand out player for me was Ellis Dickeson who some how was deemed surplus to requirements at llangennech but has consistently been outstanding. NDS will do well to keep him. Shout out to the NDS lineout too, Elis Evans, Ryan Tovey and hooker Rhys Cherry running a lineout that pro teams would be jealous of. Credit to Tumble though, exciting back line with veteran Steve Hewitt proving to be an excellent kicking option and game manager. I feel that the top 4 sides of division three deserve to be competing in a higher division.

New clubhouse over the last few years and new bar this season and new gym room built this year. Marzsno providing hot and cold catering on the field.

Very good crowd in the sun. Competitive fast moving game but with Wanderers coming away with a very good win. Only £25 a year senior season ticket as well- bargain.

Thanks for this

Whitland RFC are proud to announce two major additions ahead of next season.
Firstly, we welcome Stuart Worrall to the club as our new Player Forwards Coach. Stuart joins after an outstanding 10-year spell with Llandovery, where he established himself as one of the most consistent and physical forwards in the game. A two-time Man of the Match in cup finals, he thrives on the big stage and brings real quality to our pack. Known for his relentless work rate, dominant tackling, and ability over the ball, Stuart is a true defensive warrior and leader.
We are also delighted to welcome Lee Rees, who will take on the role of Director, overseeing all aspects of rugby at the club, while also pulling on the jersey as a player.
Lee brings incredible experience and pedigree, having captained Llandovery and made over 400 appearances for the club. His career also includes representing Wales Sevens, highlighting his quality and versatility at the highest level.
These are two massive additions for Whitland RFC, both on and off the field, and we’re excited to see the impact they will have next season. Couple of player recruitment days incoming!
Welcome to Whitland, Stuart and Lee 💙#newbegginings #clubrugby #loveclubrugby

Interesting.

Whitland on the edges of relegation to Div 3 West..just shipped over 100 points to Carmarthen Athletic...

It's really hard to think that there hasn't been some new 'investment' for next season.

Then league-leaders Ammanford took a hiding in Aberystwyth last time out, with Aber. winning 49-26:

In truth, Aber have an odd record this season, with 8 wins and 8 defeats and lie 7th in the table - but with the third-most BPs. We'll see how they get on v Glynneath this afternoon.

Wanderers entertained top of the table Ponty abd put up a really creditable perfirmance losing 31- 33.
Ponty have real strength in their squad  and it showed in the second  half.
The major  talking point however was the performance  an incredibly  young referee.
I am loathe to criticise referees at this level,  particularly  young guys
( or gals) making their way. They have to learn somewhere, and there is a shortage of officials.
Unfortunately  the young lad was out of depth , and surely should be officiating in the lower leagues, until he can gain experience .
The premiership is intense, plus teams like Ponty, bring a" baying hoard " of supporters, creating intimidating  atmosphere  from the touchline.

The younger  refs I have seen, do not talk enough to the players during  the game. This comes with experience.
Nigel Owens and Wayne Barnes were the best exponents of this , ensuring  that the whistle is not constantly  blown, and the game flows .
