He is just an immature man who holds grudges with most people or organisations who dare to oppose him or hold him to account.  His EOs (probably instigated by the true president- Musk) have seen cuts and massive job loses across state agencies, which in the case of the aviation industry have corresponded with a number of fatal accidents in the past few weeks, and seen aid cut to those who need it most.
The sanctimonious of the international criminal court just sums him up in a tee.  They had the cheek to call out Netanyahu and the hammas leaders as war criminals (so both sides), but because the US are a close ally of Israel he’s taken umbrage with it, but instead of just making his feels known he sanctions them - although what good that will do I don’t know.
His actions in his first 3 weeks in office have been proof of his ruthless businessman behaviour and will see his fanatic supporters and his staff singing his praises.  However I believe that some of those actions will come back and bite the American economy on the a..e big time, costing the very electorate who swallowed all of his nonsense in the lead up to the presidential election hardships for years to come.

Amongst the many things that have upset me since Trump took power, two things in particular stand out. There are clearly other even bigger issues, but for me....

The first is how he blamed equality and diversity policy for the tragic crash in Washington, knowing that the Black Hawk Helicopter pilot was female. For her Commander in Chief to come out with such a statement, like Henry VIII ordering the execution sword for Anne Boleyn before the trial, well that’s just despicable.

The second is how he accepted that ‘golden pager’ gift from Netanyahu. He may as well have accepted a signed portrait of a  child with shrapnel in their eyes. A sick gesture and not worthy of the leader of the free world.

I fear for the years ahead.

I think Rob O Bont and Legend both make excellent points above.

My nephews , both living and working in the states say that one if Trumps latest stunts, is to aim to have the border  fence running  the length between  US and Mexico Electrified .
In reality of course the plan would cost billions,  and the practicality us that it will not stop the Mexicans, as they will find a way over around it. LOL

Another day full,of  hot air extremism from Donald.

It wo'nt be long before  the yanks realise they have made a MASSIVE mistake.Clap

Thumbs Up. Also Rob what does it say about Netanyahu making the gift in the 1st place. These countries never seem to learn from history. It won't be today, nor tomorrow, nor even this year but 10's of thousands of Palestinian/Muslim peoples have been traumatised by brutal acts of violence carried out by Israel with huge support from America. It will only take a disenchanted group, financed by Iran to carry out another 9/11 style attack & the sick merry go round will continue.

Absolutely Gareth, I think the act of making and giving the 'gift' by Netanyahu is worse than receiving it. Both disgusting acts and for me, it points to the US having more involvement in that attack than we will ever know.   It also will have recruited thousands more terrorist and make the world less safe for Americans - so the act of giving and receiving that gift  was as stupid as it was callous.

Struggling to work out the logic of Trump's tariff attacks. I can understand tariffs on items which the US manufacture & have spare capacity for instance. However they import around 70% of the steel & aluminium for food production as the US does not produce enough; same with steel for cars. Net result is higher prices & pressure on inflation. No doubt pressure will be brought to bear & he will make many allowances which, of course, he won't talk about.

The press and Musk and his child and Trump at the Oval office was absolutely comedy gold yesterday.  Has anyone seen anyone ever have a child on their shoulders in that place. Trump didn't look too pleased, when the child was picking his nose next to him when Musk didn't really answer questions.  These two will have a massive fall out ...2 of the biggest egos together....

I assume he's looking to increase US steel production

Excellent  posts from both GPR and Rob O'Bont.
Thank you gentlemen!

I am not anti Israeli ,and have Israeli friends,  as I have posted many times on.  this forum.
The only way forward, as Kier Starner has stated us a two  nation state .
What Trump is suggesting , is act of ethnic cleansing greater than anything  we saw in the Balkans, some of the horror of which I have witnessed  myself.

Rob is 100% right , above, when he says that it will be the greatest act of terrorist recruitment  for year's .
I have long said, " today's displaced orphan,  is tomorrow's terrorist "
Shame on Trump, and shame on Netenyahu.
With alleged  friends like these,  who needs enemies

Who says Hamas have to rule Gaza. There are moderate Palestinian leaders prepared to negotiate. Hamas may well still be around but if a two state solution were found they would be on the outside looking in & if they persisted in terror attacks would be become the enemy of both sides.

They get rid of Hamas by joining Israel backed by USA as part of the two state solution. Hamas will have to make a decision accept a genuine two state solution in exchange for peace & dropping their anti Israel stance or risk isolation.  I would hope that a genuine two state solution accompanied by Internationally backed rebuilding of Gaza & the West Bank would convince most surrounding Arab nations that peace was preferable. A long shot I accept but the alternative doesn't bear thinking about.
