Good signing for Quins this.
CARMARTHEN Quins have snapped up former Scarlets hooker Aled Gravelle. The division one west champions have moved to sign the experienced No. 2 as part of plans to boost their squad in preparation for next season. Gravelle spent several seasons at Stradey Park acting as understudy to Robin McBryde and Matthew Rees. |

didn't aled gravell start off as a flanker and then converted to hooker after a few too many big mac meals? he was a decent enough player though who was OK at celtic league level. i wonder why he was cut? i'm sure he'll do a good job for the quins and will help the others attract the interest of the farmers daughters in savannaghs on a saturday night!!!!

Think Gavelle got capped at u 21 level for Wales as a number eight, changed to hooker cos he was too short, he'll defiantely do the job for the quins, remember some of his barnstorming runs for the scarlets, like a bull, look out this year.

He is a good signing for the Quins.They should have a really good side next year,the signing of Martens will strengthen them further.Aled showed a lot of promise when he came onto the scene but then fell away.Hopefully he can regain some of the form that brought him to our attention a few years ago.
