Cracking game at Church Bank yesterday between two good sides, which the Drovers deserved to win (15 - 10).  Scarlets players all showed up well.  Peter Edwards was solid in the scrum and had a good work rate (except for his chip and chase!!!), Rhodri Williams at scrum half again looked class, and Jake Randall and Lee Rees on the wing both looked dangerous and both scored tries.   They were both up against much bigger wingers (Kevin James and Jamie Davies), but didn't back down one bit.  I hope all 4 get some game time for the Scarlets soon, if not against Edinburgh on Friday, then the next 2 LV cup games.

The Neath contribution to the matchday program talked of them only having dropped one point in 4 outings.  That walks the fine line between self-confidence and arrogance, and they've now dropped 5 points in 5 outings!  Tight game, but Neath seemed easily flustered.  They may also have got on the wrong side of the ref, who clearly didn't mind reffing an upset (which is always comforting from our perspective!)  Wink

Neath's match this weekend is going to be interesting, they only have 14 fit squad players.
There are rumours that "Arwel Thomas" & other past players are donning their boots to ensure the game goes ahead !
Herman Tours ... Still the best way to travel !

usual obnoxious neath supporters near the club.

Clap
Scarlet players showed up well but then to be honest EVERY player in a Drovers shirt did their club proud, huge collisions in the midfield, unsuprising that both centres came off in the final quarter with war wounds. Wonderful defence all match especially when down to 14 men and Neath camped on the line.Forwards did not allow Neath any space and every breakdown fought from kick off to final whistle.  Two quality tries and all played in heat unknown in Llandovery in October.
Well done huge credit to the players, coaches and club.Lets hope same players can continue this run.
            Congratulations to all involved.
