Yes it was a pre season game, but well done to the Scarlets under 18s on defeating Wasps under 18s by 48 points to 7 .

Some excellent performances by the boys, but what a performance by the whole squad, and neither International winger,Ryan Conbeer and Corey Baldwin were available after just returning from South Africa .

Don,t under estimate what confidence the whole squad can take from todays performance .

Disappointing there was no mention of the game, the lineup or now the result on either the Scarlets or the Scarlets Academy Twitter, or the Facebook page.
Good result though.

This is somewhere that the Scarlets need to tighten up on. There should be conduit for Scarlets games at all levels so that it becomes a single entity not just the firsts. While some may not care, it's still the Scarlet badge on the shirt and hence we support them, maybe only in words but nevertheless it's our team.

Whoever is preparing the Scarlets website either needs some help or another job. How difficult is it to get a squad picture of Jonathon Davies, let alone stats for the whole squad? He /she could even photoshop Foxy's head onto the new kit, if that's the problem and the Academy, U18, U16  are still showing the 2015/6 squads let alone an account of the U18s 48-7 thrashing of Wasps.

Any info on the prop from Crymych who's got a 5 year deal with us (academy contract)??? He's just finished his GCSE's and seems a bit young to be given even an academy contract. So he must be talented. He played for the u18s in this game, so an account of his scum work would be nice if anyone went to the game?

Good info Llywarch.

Agree re the website needing improvement. We get similar issues each season. Why?

It doesn't help the image of the club when former players state how much more professional their new side is compared to us either...

Bit of recurring theme.

I agree - I would've gone to this game if I'd known about it. Plus I imagine the advertising on the website is reliant on the number of "clicks" the article gets- so if the page gets 500 people to click on it, it's more money for the Scarlets.
Don't know if they employ a specialist Social Media manager?

Not the wisest he's ever made in hindsight I'd suggest...

I recently spoke to a former Scarlets player who said the same, that his new region was a lot more professional than we were .

The Scarlets website is shocking, last season the Scarlets select games were not even advertised, reports more or less, non existent and the coverage or the lack of coverage  of the Academy games,is simply embarrassing.

Glad to see Scarlets Under 18 defeating Wasps always good to see Pro 12 sides winning against PRL sides.
The full match Ulster v Northampton is on UTube under UlsterRugby TV featuring ex Wasp's player Charles Pilatau.
The result was a win for Ulster 29 - 19 and this was after Ulster A defeated Mark Anscombe's Canada A as the first match in a double header.
