   Glam v Gloucester,  county championship  div 2.Not a fixture that many would sit up and notice! 
In the first inningsGlis were 88-8 at one stage ending at 177 all out  thanks to tailenders!Glam also struggled with the bat.
Second innings a complete transformation,  a run fest, with Glos posting 610 for 5 Dec, settling Glam 593..a WORLD RECORD. 
Glam got the runs, but off the very last ball of the game, last man Mc Llroy was out, forcing a tie. when going for the winning run
History was almost completed,  and a tie with those runs, is another record.
Who said county championship  is boring . 

The reality of course, is that that the pitch flattened,  and in Glams case, one of their weakest attacks I have witnessed , in a lifetime of supporting them !
Anyway,  a bit of excitement to stir us and lift the spirits
