Perhaps he needs a break after the URC and they'll name him in the final squad? or maybe he's just going to have a rest summer.

I note that Carwyn Leggatt-Jones has made the initial training party of 45 which will be cut to 30 for the tournament. Good achievement for a 17 year old!!!! I know I shouldn't but this kid excites me. Exactly the same feeling I had when I saw Macs for the first time.

look at both squads senior and under 20’s they are very Cardiff heavy coincidence perhaps. Definitely light on Ospreys players has there been a directive from WRU on this I know it’s a conspiracy theory but the Ospreys have been the form under 18 team for last three years so only 2 of them get in under 20 squad.
Is it case of look how many players Cardiff supply to international rugby we can’t let Cardiff go. 
It would explain the selection of Winnett over  Mee, Thomas over James, Mann over Morse and Asseratti over my 6 year old niece.
She asks why i still can't answer. I guess its in the blood.

The breakdown of the 45 man squad is as follows - Scarlets/RGC 9, Dragons 11, Ospreys/Aberavon 4, Cardiff/CardiffMet 11 & English Clubs 10.

Dragons always seem to have quite a number at age grade over the years which appear to go AWOL in making it through to URC level. Not the first time this has been noted.

Team for tomorrow afternoon's match v England U20 doesn't have a big Scarlet contribution with only Elis Price in the starting XV and Jac Pritchard and Dylan Alford in the 14!!! replacements.

Seems like a very strange team selection to me, more than a little surprised not to see Jac Pritchard, Harry Thomas and Tom Bowen in the starting 15
