I agree with Sean Lynn, he does need some time.

The Scotland games was first up unfortunately and away, so a tight loss is OK.

I expect us to get smashed by France and England, although we stuck in there in the first half against France.

The Ireland games was disappointing, not because Ireland aren't a very good team now, but because of the errors and mistakes we made that meant instead of being 14-0 in a first twenty minutes when we were fairly dominant, we actually were 21-7 down a few minutes after that. Much like the men's team, a few fluffed lineouts in great positions, some basic errors, the inability to make the right decision in attack when tries were on.

There is still a lack of tackling ability in the backs. At one point the ref praised Hannah Jones for making a big hit when she drove an Irish player back... when in fact she had completely missed her 10 seconds before when she should have hit her behind the game line, and had had to track all the way back onside as the same Irish player made ground, before she made said tackle.

That said, the forwards overall still look good, Lleucu's kicking was better, and Carys Cox looks a genuine threat on the wing. I still think we are really struggling at centre, and heads seemed to go down once the Irish got a lead.

Lots to work on.

Yup, capitulated in the second half. Close at half-time. Looked a hard game for the players - I think training must've taken a step up as they look knackered.

Still, it's a long-term project for Lynn.

Agree with above comments.
All the countries  seem to have moved positively, with the  exception  of Wales.
Wales beat  the Italians for the last two years. Today outclassed.
Every 50/50   the Italians seemed to win, and they were quicker in thought and deed.  I saw fluency,y from Italy, that I hadn't  seen before,  in contrast Wales are stodgy and predictable..Still !
All the girls play in the Premiership  ,and cannot seem replicate  the same form in a Red Jersey .
Two years ago I saw Ireland thrashed in Cardiff by 40,pts.
Now for two years running, they put 40pts on us.
Somthing  WRONG somewhere.
Yes Wales were missing  their two best forwards in Tuipotu and Butchers,  who would make a difference,  but two players do'nt make up a side.
Depressing ConfusedOuch

Just to add,  online trolls ( 99% men), most of who ever played rugby since school full of bull bullpoo.
Many questions asked about women's professional  contracts.?
Have the girls improved since their inception...probably not.
I am as frustrated  and disappointed as the next person.
If however it was based on results  and we dispense with pro contracts for women,  in a parallel situation,  there wouldn't  be a region in Wales left standing...particularly  the Dragons.
There needs to be massive  improvement  all round, but keep,it in perspective.

Did you think the crowd seemed to be enjoying themselves? I got the impression they were, like they seemed to be when Wales lost to England. Realistically it'll take a long time to complete with the likes of England with their player pool and financial resources...but if the crowds seem to be enjoying themselves none the less, is this ok?

Italy shouldn't be any better than Wales, granted they have some players in France and England, but that's marginal.

Sioned Harris ( who I like listening to) wasn't pulling any punches in her match review.

I think women’s rugby supporters comprise a lot of females who follow them on instagram and tik Tok. That’s not a disparaging remark by the way. Some of those woman have thousands of followers and that’s the audience they attract.

Actually SA, your right, Maher ( a former teamate of my daughter  ), at Bristol.
There was more about Tik Tok etc, etc than her actual impact on the field.
I watched her carefully in several games , and she will admit herself,  there is a lot of the game she is still learning. Amazing social  media follow  however.
It's what young people enjoy LOL

I was surprised by the extent of this loss but we have to keep going with Women’s rugby. You can see in the fans a different bunch of fans- lots of young women and families. We need to meet their needs and hopefully to get them more interested in the men’s game as well, lifting the profile of rugby as a sport in Wales. The Italians sadly were too strong for us and looked fitter ( perhaps just my perception) . A number of big dynamic young black women from the old Italian colonial world as well added to their mix. We have a lot to do .A nice money sponsor would be nice as well.

How often are there women's matches ahead of a men's match, or vice versa, on the same pitch?

It's happened a lot in hockey to great success over the years.

Only one I can remember working was the men played and then the women played Italy after up at the stadium. Was a good day, that was a while ago though.

It's happened a quite regularly in the Allianz Women's Premiership, I know Sarries, Sale and Quins have done it in the past 2 or 3 years
