the ten years are up this year? Will it go back to the millennium with no new sponsor because the WRU seem to have their thumb up their arses.

With the newly appointed growth manager, surely we should see an enhanced deal. Perhaps they why we have seen no other sponsorship or deals announced, he is waiting for the big one?

Millennium was also a sponsorship deal of sorts, as part of the construction cost, just over a third, was paid for by the Millennium Commission. So I unfortunately doubt it will revert back to that name.

I’ve disliked the Principality name for years as even though it’s just business name, it’s one that just reinforced a tired idea of 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 being a “principality”.

I doubt we will see a big name company throw money at naming rights but one can wish. Given the WRU’s track record in decision making abilities, whoever does put money into the game will be getting it at a discounted rate.

I’d love to see ‘House of luxury’ in gigantic letters outside as a sponsor.

I tend to agree with all of you.  The WRU will struggle to find new sponsors for the stadium.
They are too preoccupied with their master plan to destroy welsh rugby to have even probably noticed that the stadium rights are up.
Add to that, why would any business want to be associated with a union that has systematically failed the very sport that they are meant to be the custodians of.  Sponsoring the stadium could well be a poison chalice if there isn’t a product to watch other than 2 new men’s and women’s team playing each other 15 times a year.

With the way the WRU is driving down the image of Welsh rugby we will soon have the "Cash Converters stadium"

With the amount of big gigs that are held there they should be able to get at least half a decent offer even with the mess they've created with their core product, rugby. Should being the key word there of course.

I echo Glyndwr's points and look forward to the stadium not being called the Principality, despite having nothing against the organisation itself

We all know the usual WRU spin on these kind of things- “we have scoured the world, only to find the answer living in Roath Park”.  It’s funny how that regularly seems to happen in WRU circles.
