Not sure if it’s just my device but the number of adverts and the fact they now seem to cover half the screen is becoming very irritating. It seems to have got worse recently.

I agree. Also thought it was my phone. Was going g to take out an ad block but will hang on and see if things improve.

I have to ask those organising the website WHY we have so many adverts.?
Realise that the thing has to be funded somehow, but now they are infiltrating every pore..."advert irritating"., disrupting the flow of posts On a humerous note, Mrs Pimp was asking me mischievously, why there were so many adverts for lingerie?? Oh its Christmas, I responded, members looking for presents  |

It’s not as bad as Wales on line which is abysmal! It’s ran by Reach I think as web people and really ruins articles on rugby and anything else.Why can’t they bunch them together at the start or middle so we may actually read them!

i have an ad with a buxom lady saying “mature women write first at top of my screen followed by tui holidays at the bottom. please can we ban the tui ones

It might take time to refuse all as well as object all (legitimate interest) however, it’s worth the effort.
Either that or because I’m on an iPad, I’ve not suffered in this recent batch of adverts……yet.

This isn't moaning for the sake of it and I realise they're a source of income for a free forum, but the forum is becoming unusable with the way adverts currently are - they break up posts so I can't read them and intefere with the posting screen now, which is seriously hard to use on a mobile. Plus if there's portrait ads, which I have, it's basically impossible to follow.

On my iPhone I never get advertisements on the forum.On my iPad I do for all sorts of things some I didn’t even know existed . Logic tells me if I got the settings on the iPad the same as on the iPhone the advertisements would go away but to date laziness has stopped me doing anything about it.
