Will there be any changes to the Wales team for the final game against Italy?

Italy have a number of injuries and this affected their performance against England, although not sufficiently to affect the result. Will they have any of their injured stars back for the match in Cardiff?

Wales strategy against Ireland was backs to the wall defense to try to stay in touch long enough to pinch the result. Italy have been employing the same tactics this 6N, to greater effect. If Wales want to take the game to Italy and attack, will any changes be needed to play a a more offensive game, at half back, traditional no 7 eg?

I personally think we stick with as many of the team as injury allows, purely on the basis that they have mostly now had 3/4 tests in a row and to make any drastic changes will disrupt a team that needs some continuity.  Get through this one, snatch a win vs Italy (never thought I'd be saying that!) then build in the summer.

It's great that Italy are finally a proper test in the 6N, its just annoying that it's coincided with our bleak years.  Would have been nice for us to have played the England team that flopped vs Scotland, Ireland and Italy too.  On that subject, Scotland are a basket case - outmuscled by Italy, could (some say should) have lost to Wales but for a couple of small things, then stick 50 on France......

I think it will be two attacking sides with banzai running rugby.

Perfect.

We need Sam to be fit for that to happen and a scrum half who gets the ball away quicker than Tomos does.
She asks why i still can't answer. I guess its in the blood.

I would still look at dropping Hawkins for Grady (at 13 with Eddie at 12) or even trying Hennessey

Although I will settle for Beard being dropped from the bench and having Macleod/Deaves take his place! I know that means no 2nd row cover but Botham is more than capable of moving up to 2nd row

We need to score a poo load of points if we're to leapfrog England on the table, and hope France stick 50 on England in Paris too (which is a possibility). Banzai rugby is a good term LOLClapThumbs Up

We struggled big time in the scrum against Saints after Ball left the field after 7-8 minutes. Plumtree gave his all, but he wasn't heavy enough, or was unable to adapt to the different demands of scrummaging in the second row. Kemsley was unable to deal with their TH, may be because he didn't have the weight behind him. We were 14-7 ahead when Kemlsey left the field on a YC, and 26-14 down when he came back on.

Given the ref had taken a dislike to Kemsley, I wonder now whether we should have subbed him off.

Only 6cm shorter than Freddie Thomas, but I get your point

Beard might be 17cm taller and 12kg heavier but has he ever done anything in a Welsh shirt to warrant a place?

Think I would bring Murray into FB & have LRZ on one wing with Mee on the other.

I keep on calling for Mee to 15. Is it only Liam Williams & I can that see the potential????? LRZ is pretty clueless at 15 - lets face it the only thing he has in his locker is top end pace. Don't get me wrong that goes a long way but not at 15 where his rugby brain/positioning sense will soon be caught out.

I would keep Murray away from International rugby until he finds his form with Scarlets. Hopefully we will see Rogers & him for Friday.

I would of changed the Centres myself, Eddie to 12 and Watkin to 13. I would of also brought in Grady at 11 and swapped LRZ and Mee around.
