They'll do well to hang on here as Chelsea are having a huge amount of possession.

90 mins gone and the swans are looking good and chelsea player booked for play acting....
In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

Chelsea goal disallowed for offside and win it 0- 2 outstanding really and their two star strikers do the biz.

8th in the premiership now 90 minutes from wembley....how the heck have they achieved so much with so little?

cant help wondering how their meteoric rie allied to the cardiff redbirds possible promotion to the prem will affect welsh rugby? certainly may boost parts of the local economies

Been saying this for a long long time, it's the doomsday scenario for Welsh rugby, International & Regional.
It's not always about where you end up, it's about how you get there.

great minds thnk alike
cardff average 22500 now
swans 20,000
add 12000 and premership for cardiff
cardiff will play the bg 5 at millennum stadium mho

you could be looking at both averagng 30,000+

in short there wll be twice as many watching pro football in wales each week than pro rugby
plus the fact the football clubs play as many games

4 important goals in four games, I think Laudrup should keep hold of him unless it's deal done.

Correct boys.

WRU better do something to improve Regional rugby - and quick!!

Doomsday scenario for them would be Swans and Cardiff in the Premier League.

For many a year the Swans have been a class act even before they could get promotion. Have had a great series of forward thinking managers, with good supporting coaching staff. They have been able to identify players who could play their way and were not that expensive. I really think the Scarlets should have a look at their blueprint as the Swans are doing something right on relatively small budgets to the teams around them. Ironically the Swans remind me of the Chiefs in what they have, what they are, and what they are likely to achieve.
