After some previous correspondence on other threads, I thought it best to start this new thread to see who amongst the early bookings is still going to the match and those who have recently booked, spurred on by the recent upturn in results.

Me and Mrs EO will be there plus 5 Biarritz-supporting friends from the town near our place in France.

Out from Stansted on Friday, back Sunday pm.

I booked before the day was confirmed and coming back different way which was aswell cheap. Because there’s 2 of us we just paid for big suitcase put in the hold which was roughly £25

However I have had to refer the fact that you are taking a suitcase on tour to the Scarlet Fever House Sub Committee, travel allowance working party.

I’d expect sanctions 🍷🍺

I’d expect a judgment of leave the contents behind and pack with wine but who knows with these verdicts. 

The bag in box/en vrac variety packs in more quantity for your money and is hugely good value for the cheaper wines. 

If you’re wanting stuff that’s €10 or more a bottle, then glass is the only choice unless you come across a cave (wine shop) or out of town wine cooperative. A vineyard sometimes offers en vrac though they might expect you to already have your containers)that offers en vrac Pomerol, Margaux, Pauillac, St Estephe etc and that might be around €10 a litre plus the cost of your containers.

Me and three from Brum to Bordeaux on Thursday back Sunday 
Staying in Bordeaux for two nights Sat in Bayonne could do with bit of support Friday night Glaws in town as they play Bordeaux Sat. 
Looks like flight will be Scarlet on Thursday morning.

Reminds me of Stade Mayol in 2015 ( Toulon).

All adorned in the newly launched yellow Scarlets jerseys. The Scarlets corner of the stand looked like a whole load of particularly plump canaries had landed there.
