RGD will take his place, so quality-wise the team won't be affected very much at all.

Extremely bad news for Nick though.

But the last thing we want to do is to rush him back before he's ready just because we have a shortage of players at centre. We did this with Fenby when he made his comeback too early - didn't he end up out for far longer due to being rushed back??

What the injury to Reynolds does show us is that we really need to extend the size of the Scarlets squad due to so many of the youngsters making the step-up to International rugby.  I know we have the youngsters developing - but they are hardly going to win us tight games against the likes of Munster, Leinster, etc. when they are probably in their first senior season as Scarlets players. With the signing of the NZ SH we are at least addressing one problem position in the squad, but IMO we could do with 4-5 of these calibre players in the squad to not only 'show the ropes' to the youngsters but also so that they aren't thrown in at the deep end, it could really knock their confidence if they are thrown in against the top sides and lose, possibly taking a hammering. Shocked
Think, think, think - it's a thinking man's game!! - The Great Carwyn James.

Its like hitting your head against a brick wall. Will we ever have a fully fit, functional squad....

In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

I like the look of Rheon James. Bad luck for an exciting centre. Isn't NR a 13?

Whack Fenby in as someone to hit the line hard from wide passes off 10, 12 or blindside coming in. Just a thought.
