After reading this article about the oldest inn's in Cardiff:-
http://dicmortimer.com/2010/05/10/theoldest-pub-in-cardiff/

What's the oldest/older, still running, pubs in Llanelli? Google hasn't really provided me with any valid information.

You mean Moonraker/Zenons Wink

Gosh, those were the days, start off in the Rolling Mill, then Maxwells, then Barnums, then the Barbican, Stepney, and if you really pushed the boat out, you'd end up in the Shakers. Jungle Tikka or Chinese on the way home, then throw it all back up early doors! LOL

Of course, you'd get involved in the usual Saturday night fights that took place in every single pub in the town, but it was just part of the furniture on a typical Saturday night out! LOL

Interesting questions....well those wondrous custodians of culture, the council knocked down 2 of our 2 oldest watering holes, Stepney/sol bar demolished , whereas the old circles hovel survived? and island house was razed to the ground to make space for 4 cars to park....genius

other than them, halfway hotel Im told is a few centuries old, greyhound in foel? how old is the verandah building? theres a pub opened in that again.....anyone know hold old drovers is?

the masons in kidwelly is so old the archers used to down a bitter after a game of bow and arrow....at least 700 years old and the thatched roof has survived the bwrw glaw
