I don't remember him, but he showed up very well in the highlights - what happened to him?

Remind me, what was the name of the competition with the SA sides... or, they were invited to the Premiership for a year or two? I attended some of these games, but I forget.

Lots of things to love about the era but no one can argue that professionalism hasn’t improved the game.

I think that was one of Finau’s first games for us. What a tank of a man he was. Freakishly strong.

MM is absolutely ace!

During my life, I have been fortunate to see the team of the 70s (Benny, Selwyn, Delme, Quinnell, Grav, Hill, JJ), the team of the early 00s (Quinnell, Moon, Wellies, M Jones, Finau, Easterby, Madden, Jon Davies) and the current (Rob Evs, Ken, Shingler, Barclay, Cubby, Cawdor, Scottie, Foxy).

All great in their own way, but the characters of the middle group - the 00s, seemed to have had the most fun!!
