The Blues defence against the Dragons was incredible, and whoever is responsible has done a great job - the Dragons didn't play badly and would have been clear winners if not for that defensive performance. By hook, crook, bribery or blackmail that's the sort of defensive coach we have to sign.

Mike Brown has his disciplinary hearing this evening for his (accidentally) stamp to the face of the wasps hooker on Saturday. Hope they throw the book at him, even at normal speed the video evidence isn’t too good for him, no mitigation.
It’s interesting that for someone who appears to like to voice his opinions on lots of rugby issues, he hasn’t voiced any opinions on his stamp. |

I've not seen the stamp, but it sounds as if Brown's nickname - 'Mr Angry' - is there for a reason!

Brown given a 6 week suspension. A little odd to adjudicate the stamp as unintentional.
It was pretty obviously a pre meditated action. |

Seen the footage and I agree Wil.
Player was on the floor to Brown's left, yet Brown managed to stamp on the face using the right foot. Brown had managed to cross his legs and bring right foot down on the player's face. The player on the ground had held on to Brown for too long, no excuse though. Deliberate and premeditated in my view. A nasty offence. Player's eyes were at risk.

My guess it's that they had no angle to see what the player on the floor was doing as in did he do something to put brown of balance. Did look nasty though, think he is lucky with 6 weeks

Can't find the footage now, but I seem to remember he looked over his left shoulder to see where the player was, then crossed right leg behind his left as the player on the floor was holding his left leg.

Makes you think sometimes are they unintentional because how naive can a person be knowing there’s so many cameras there.

Agree with what you say to some degree, but how naive was Sanjay when he was red carded against the Blues ???

Like the other English one some in Wales seem to hate ( Owen baby eating Farrell 😉) , Brown has an excellent playing record and this was his first red card. He is not easy to like from the TV sofa ( as is Farrell) but the reaction from some of the Kangaroo court department on SM is as usual OTT and abusive. So much for the SM closing down last week to reset respect and abuse issues !! 🤨
