So sad for him. I was as guilty as anyone of thinking that his head knocks had caught up with him and he was never gonna be the player he was in 2011-2013 again.

But during the 6N we saw he was getting back to that level and I’m really gutted for him - I’m personally sad I won’t get to see him outside Finn Russel at 10.

I worried for a while that North was going to become a bit of a case of lost talent (which is ridiculous really considering he has over 100 caps and 2 Lions tours) just because I didn’t for a long time see him change/take control of a game in the way his talent allowed him to.

That said in the last 18 months he has been imperious, has made the move to 13 look easy, and has been debatably Wales’ best back.

Desperately unlucky. Hope he can look after his body and get the chance to tour again.

Funnily enough my old man said the same to me on the weekend but I'd imagine we'll see Farrell at 12 now.

Plenty of better centres in Uk & Ireland. Henshaw's form makes him a probable starter at 12. North was a good shout at 13 but others are available - Harris, Ringrose & Slade to name 3. Of course Manu will be fit before the first game - he will be a punt but a lot will depend on his medical report.

Aye I think you’re right. I think they’ll go with:

Owen Farrell 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Robbie Henshaw 🇮🇪

Henry Slade 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Manu Tuilagi 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Chris Harris 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳£󠁴󠁿

Gatland must be furious at George getting injured in a mickey-mouse meaningless competition. Poor George, hope he has a speedy and successful recovery.

Right here's my effort, was tough & I really struggled over the back row & 9. I think Simmonds will tour & that will see Navidi on the reserve list, was close to putting either Price or Care in at 9 but thought Williams just about sneaks it.

Furlong, Sinkler, Wyn Jones, Sutherland, Francis, Healy

Owens, Cowan-Dickie, George

Itoje, AWJ, Ryan, Henderson, Beirne

Faletau, Tipuric, Curry, H.Watson, Stander, Navidi, Simmonds

Murray, T.Williams, Gareth Davies

Biggar, Sexton

Henshaw, Ringrose, Tuilagi, Farrell

van der Merwe, Adams, LRZ, A.Watson

L.Williams, Hogg

Cheers yeah, I think the test matches may well see a 6:2 split on the bench due to the sheer physical battle they will be!!
