p.s. Letting Jac Morgan go is complete madness.

For the love of god we didn’t let him go, he wanted to leave. There’s a whole thread on it if you still haven’t grasped this.

I'm getting fed up of people not getting this. He wanted out.

I also noted the squad is being trimmed down to 50. It's been announced already that Jake Ball, Tevita Ratuva, Werner Kruger, Jac Morgan and Uzair Cassiem are leaving. Strong rumours that Osian Knott is heading to the Ospreys and Paul Asquith is also leaving.

Who else might leave? I can possibly see Danny Drake, Dylan Evans (hasn't featured much in recent years - plus Steff Thomas and Kelmsley Mathias are doing well) and one or two of our hookers also leaving (we have 7 on our books - Ken, Ryan, Marc Jones, Taylor Davies, Dafydd Hughes, Shaun Evans and Dom Booth).  Who else? Tom Phillips? Ioan Nicholas?
Nah it was very positive surrounding Dwayne. There’s more chance of you coaching Cardiff next season than Dwayne

P.S: If it was in a different topic and someone wants to copy / move it into that topic feel free to do so.

Thank you 2004 for putting that up. Polished display I thought. No way is Peel going to Cardiff from what he is saying/not saying. Bit of a cop out I think when talking of the returning Welsh squad players - exhausted!!!!!Jake, Cawdor, Johnny & Liam had very easy campaigns and all had 2 weeks to prepare - I don't buy any of that. He confirmed the shambles that is WRU/region funding & hinted at a much needed change of direction.

It sounded bloody obvious that he was coming here!
Only question is in what role?
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

It’s not unsolvable as the issue revolves around using England ( Bristol) as the base and then moving around the home nations.

I think it’s less ‘ political’ yes. Scotland, Wales and England don’t agree much on COVID.

I’d add that you can’t enter the UK from South Africa ( a red list country) outside of England...could be at the root of the challenge.

The SA sides could fly directly to Cardiff and use Wales as a base (if the Welsh government permits).

Nice concept, but completely the wrong time to try and implement it.

Welsh gov would be even less likely to allow this than Westminster would in my opinion

Once a misjudgment always a misjudgment! Let’s just have a cup tournament for the rest of the clubs- better than zilch !
